"You must not let your life run in the ordinary way; do something that nobody else has done, something that will dazzle the world. Show that God's creative principle works in you..." - Paramhansa Yogananda

About me:
I've experimented with watercolor, scratchboard, pastel, colored pencil, and oil and acrylic paints. Most recently I am enjoying the freedom of black and white charcoal. I love them all, so I use them all! I particularly enjoy crumpling, spattering, staining, or gluing to achieve a chaotic, organic look, then painting or drawing over that with careful detail. My choice of subjects has included people, celebrities, undersea life, plants, fossils and shells, animals, mythical creatures, characters, and scenes from existing fiction and pure imagination. My influences include: Sulamith Wulfing, Brian Froud, Alphonse Mucha, Susan Seddon Boulet, and Virgil Finlay.

Thank you so much for the critique on my Noel Fielding picture! [link]

I'm flattered that you think so highly of this piece, it really makes me proud.

Also thank you for telling me the things you liked about it, instead of just saying it was good, I like to know what I've done well. :aww:
